About me
The Loved Child provides group and individual support & education for parents-to-be, new parents & infants group class series and expert one-on-one parenting support. 

It takes a village to raise a child and The Loved Child's team of experts is an integral part of your village. Jennifer Gillette is a child development/behavior & parenting expert, Amanda Bargoil is a perinatal nurse and Diane Lopes is a perinatal nurse & postpartum doula. We will be by your side for your entire journey - beginning at the moment of expectancy, the first months of parenthood, and throughout the years of parenting your young child. TLC offers support, education, and community to make family & life, work.

Cancellation Policy:  Full refunds will be given for cancellations more than 7 days before the start of an event. For cancellations between 1 and 7 days, credit will be given for use towards a future event. Unfortunately, no refunds or credit can be given for cancellations within 24 hours of the start of the event.

New Parents & Infants Group Class: The Fourth TrimesterThe Loved Child’s 6-week interactive virtual class series includes a warm and supportive group experience to meet other new parents while receiving expert guidance around baby-care skills, breast & bottle feeding, sleep, and how to best support your baby’s development and learning. Our TLC class provides the opportunity to discuss all the pivotal experiences of becoming a new parent such as the inevitable physical and emotional changes, the possible shifts in your personal relationships, returning to work (or not), the importance of self-care, and so much more. Participants will receive trusted resources in addition to ample time for personal questions. This 6-session group class (6-hours total) is facilitated by a perinatal nurse and is intended for new parents with infants 0 – 6 months. Of course, co-parents are most welcome!

Preparing for Childbirth with TLCWe welcome you to join our supportive & interactive group class to learn what to expect during labor, birth, and the postpartum period. This virtual class is facilitated by an experienced perinatal nurse and includes the following topics: • Physical changes during pregnancy • Signs & stages of labor • When to call your provider • Pain relief options • Coping methods & comfort techniques • Role of the support person • Induction • Cesarean birth • Postpartum changes Participants will receive trusted resources in addition to ample time for personal questions. This 2-session virtual class (6-hours total) is intended for the expecting individual & one support person.

Newborn 101We all have parenting instincts that kick in after our babies are born and informing those instincts with evidence-based information and expert advice makes raising babies with confidence so much easier. Our Newborn 101 class helps you learn about caring for your baby after birth. Topics include bringing baby home, infant sleep patterns and expectations, how to know what your baby wants by reading their cues, feeding choices, diapering, bathing, soothing your baby, illness, and more! Participants will receive trusted resources in addition to ample time for personal questions. This 1-session class (3-hours total) is intended for the expecting individual & one support person.
