PREnatal Yoga Drop-In (ONLINE) | Our unique prenatal yoga classes go beyond simply modifying yoga poses. We celebrate community, incorporate childbirth education, and strive to make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible by addressing any aches or pains in your body.
Each class includes poses that bring balance and alignment to the pelvis, pelvic floor and pelvic & uterine ligaments. This encourages your baby into a more optimal birthing position so you may have a more functional, less complicated birth.
Yoga asana is also used to discover coping skills. Students explore poses that allow for safe, strong sensation. This offers you the chance to learn what coping skills you may gravitate toward, as well as how to use them when you are experiencing physical and mental discomfort (like in labor and early parenthood). This mindful exploration of yoga poses will leave you feeling more prepared for whatever lies ahead in your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
The final component to PYC prenatal classes is how seamlessly childbirth education is integrated. This empowers students to continuously learn about pregnancy, the birth process and early parenthood in a very digestible, non-intimidating way.

Knowing how to touch your partner before, during, and after birth will help you feel more connected as a couple and help them feel more grounded and comforted throughout the birth process. When pregnant and birthing people feel supported and held by their partners it helps them know they can relax, let go and handle the work of birth.
In this 90 minute online class couples will:
Learn a variety of massage techniques and acupressure points to use during labor to bring comfort, both during and between contractions.
Understand the fundamental principles of skillful touch so partners have the tools they need to succeed in providing the touch you want and need.
Receive time devoted to practicing with your partner to help you both feel more connected to each other and support you in giving birth.
Receive guidance from a seasoned practitioner and birth doula with over 25 years of experience.
Leave feeling more confident about using touch to comfort and support your partner. | $ 95 | Per Session | Pushing Power: Empower Body And Mind For Birth! (TM) | Birthing people are often under prepared for the pushing part of labor, which may contribute to many hours of ineffective pushing, long term pelvic floor damage and weakness, medical interventions or even a cesarean birth. This is due in part to a lack of understanding of and limited preparation for optimal pushing. I created my workshop, Pushing Power to educate and empower pregnant people about their own bodies, especially for the pushing part of labor!
In my unique classes you will learn the essential role of the pelvic floor muscles and how they help rotate the baby and get into birth ready position. We will find the landmarks of the bony pelvis in ourselves and determine how the pelvis and baby interact during birth and how to make more space for baby. We will discover what “2nd Stage” of labor is and what happens during pushing and explore strategies to help it be more easeful and shorter and reduce perineal trauma. We will review breath and practice positions for effective pushing and how best to prepare the pregnant body for pushing and a full postpartum recovery.
Whether an epidural or unmedicated birth is planned; my workshop will leave you feeling confident and prepared. | $ 139 | Per Session |
