CPR/Safety Class Prenatal Education Class | This approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hour class covers topics no new parent wants to think about, but avoiding an emergency could be life changing for your family and baby.
What to expect:
-Instruction in CPR and choking
-Tips to avoid choking incidents
-Room-by-room review of your home to address possible safety hazards
-Car seat tips and vehicle safety
-This class, based on American Red Cross standards, is ideal for parents, grandparents, nannies, caregivers, or anyone that may be taking care of your child.

Breastfeed Preparation Prenatal Education Class | This approximately 2 hour class is offered in the comfort of your own home. If you only have time for one class before the birth of your baby this one is a must take about 8 weeks before your due date.
What to expect:
-Breastfeeding techniques, such as latching, holds and positions
-The anatomy and physiology of breast milk production and breastfeeding
-How to know if baby is getting enough
-Pumping strategies
-What to expect in the first few days after your baby is born
-What if things don’t go as planned
-How to balance breastfeeding when returning to work

Childbirth Preparation Prenatal Education Class | Each labor is entirely different and you cannot plan for every scenario, BUT… in this approximately 3 hour class, we will walk through each stage of labor, through your enire hospital stay all the way to discharge home. Our hope is to prepare you for what will come and hopefully ease your worries as they relate to the labor, delivery and postpartum processes and provide you with the tools needed to have a safe and successful birth no matter what it looks like.

-Stage of labor
-Techniques to assist with comfort during each stage of labor
-When to go to the hospital

Infant Sleep Consultation: Moms On Call | What to expect:
Lack of sleep can take its toll on the entire family. If you feel your family is out of balance (and out of steam!), Baby Basics is here to help. For some, it’s the stress of a chaotic bedtime routine that is anything but peaceful and enjoyable. For others, it’s multiple night time wakings that have them feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Many know what they NEED to do but don’t know HOW to get there.
Megan Tucker, certified Moms On Call consultant and infant/toddler sleep specialist, will meet you where you are–your comfort levels with sleep spaces, crying/fussing, your parenting philosophies and each family’s unique schedule to get you sleeping (or just back on track).
