Virtual Prenatal Yoga ClassPrenatal Yoga is a great way to connect with your baby, address the common physical symptoms associated with pregnancy, prepare for labor and birth, and relax and calm the mind. We offer a relaxed and non-judgmental approach and encourage students to work at their own pace. Whether you are a beginner or have experience you will feel comfortable and supported. The beautiful aspect of prenatal yoga is that we choose specific poses that support the pregnancy and that will help make birth easier. Many women begin their yoga practice in the 2nd trimester. You can begin earlier or later, especially if you have a previously established yoga practice. Always check with your midwife or doctor before beginning any physical exercise.

Prenatal and Women’s Yoga is open to women at all stages of life, but is taught in a way that is safe and supportive to women who are at any stage of pregnancy.... more

This class emphasizes the connection between the body and the mind. It’s essentially a meditation in motion using breath, focus and movement to cultivate a more peaceful mind as well as a healthier body. The poses offered are accessible and simple and are intended to strengthen and lengthen the body. You will be invited to work at your own pace, either slowing down or speeding up the movements to your liking. As we work through the physical poses, we will also consider how the skills we cultivate on the mat can be incorporated into our day to day life in order to relieve stress, develop better relationships, and live a happy and peaceful life.
